Chelsea is a full-time veterinarian by trade and a (mostly) self-taught artist on the side. She started out drawing in high school, and in college narrowed her focus primarily to graphite portraits and figures. Over the last several years, she began experimenting with new mediums, where she fell in love with pastels. She began creating pet portraits as gifts for her coworkers and has since expanded to take outside commissions. As an animal lover, she cherishes the opportunity to capture the spirit of a beloved pet and bring their image to life.
